Product Marketing Manager

Maxihost's mission is to make the internet faster. Our platform enables companies around the world to create and manage physical servers in several regions across the globe.

 

We are looking for an experienced, creative, metrics-driven marketer to create, develop, and execute Maxihost's marketing strategy. You will build, deliver, and optimize different marketing campaigns and experiences that promote Maxihost to developers, including existing customers.

 

We've grown quite a bit without an in-house marketing team, and now it's time to change that. As marketer #1 at Maxihost, you will build the team from scratch.

 

You might be a fit if you are a passionate and experienced B2B Marketing professional with a proven track record working on SaaS or digital infrastructure and driving marketing strategies for positioning, messaging, and branding products. 

 

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative and data-driven, with experience in copywriting, excellent writing skills, and a background in SaaS or infrastructure. More importantly, you have a strong bias for action and like to roll up your sleeves and do the work.

 

The responsibilities include implementing and executing a range of marketing activities to position and promote Maxihost's products, create GTM strategies, and establish a unique corporate communication to promote our brand.

 

Upon joining, you will jump straight into a project for our upcoming rebrand. We're changing our name and you will lead those efforts. Sounds exciting?

 

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic marketing plans to generate product awareness, demand generation, and retention;
  • Expand the value proposition for our products and services through detailed analysis and research of customer segments within the regions where our products are available;
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with customers and differentiates our organization in the market;
  • Create and execute marketing initiatives to position our products as solutions for our customers and partners in the different regions we operate;
  • Develop marketing campaigns to grow our business, acquiring new customers worldwide;
  • Conceptualize and produce creative marketing materials and content for various platforms, working with stakeholders for go-to-market product launches, including developing communications, materials, and promotions;
  • Define the goals and annual budget for marketing campaigns;
  • Build and hire a team to help deliver the Product Marketing area's needs.

 

Skills and qualifications

  • Proven experience in creating marketing plans encompassing strategy, customer research, competitive analysis, product requirements, messaging, etc;
  • Background in initiating and driving a range of GTM programs;
  • Fluent English communication skills (C2 level or native), focusing on quality and attention to detail;
  • Solid experience in copywriting;
  • Ability to effectively lead, inspire, and mentor direct and indirect reports;
  • Strength in collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies, including Executive Management, Product Management, Operations, and Sales;
  • Experience in technology and the B2B market, preferably with infrastructure-related products.

 

Nice to have

  • Background in Cloud Computing or CDNs companies;
  • Knowledge of infra-related SaaS products;
  • Previous experience in building an area from scratch;
  • Experience with 100% remote report.
